10:00 – 11:00 workshop: Helaine W. Marshall: Creating Fertile Spaces for Learning Online with the 4 E’s: Equity, Enrichment, Engagement, and Empowerment
11:00 – 12:00 workshop: Christine Preston: The Established Theories That Scaffold Teaching, Learning And Mentoring Online
The workshop will present role of theories for supporting online education practices. Dr. Preston will show how these theories are used in practice. She will focuse on building of community of practice for supporting innovative teaching methods. The workshop will also provide examples of using MOOCs.

13:00 – 14:00 workshop: Václav Duffek, Tomáš Průcha: Introduction to Virtual Classroom
A virtual reality simulator for student teachers, which allows you to simulate and test situations that occur during school teaching – this is a virtual classroom. The application was created thanks to the cooperation of virtual reality experts from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB) and didactics at the Faculty of Education, UWB. Within the Czech Republic, this is a unique project that aims to prepare teacher students for internships in schools and strengthen the practical part of their studies.
The whole event will be held in English without interpretation.
The seminar is open free of charge to all interested students from ZČU and other universities upon prior registration.
